ABOUT FIREFLY VAPORIZRES

Firefly Vaporizers burst onto the scene in 2012 by co-founders Mark Williams and Sasha Robinson to enhance people's lives by creating the very best vaporizers in the world. They engineer elite portable convection vaporizers with an emphasis on cutting-edge technology and incredible flavor. Dynamic Convection heating technology makes Firefly one of the top vaporizer brands out, delivering a wide range of temperatures with every draw. Never wanting to be behind the curve, Firefly is constantly updating its devices to provide the best portable vaporizer possible.

Their constant innovation helped Firefly's vaporizers become the first and only company to win "the Good Design Award" by Chicago Athenaeum Museum in 2014. This comes with no surprise because Williams was a design leader for over 20 years in Silicon Valley as a design manager at Apple leading Mac OS X interface. Robinson has deep knowledge of hardware and software, previously consulting companies like Juniper Networks, Microsoft, Nike, Panasonic, and LG. Firefly's vision continues to push and explore the realms within business and society to create "a brighter future by using research, design, and technology to enhance every individual's freedom to be responsible for their own consciousness."

With that said, Firefly knows modern times need modern products. Although more traditional alternatives exist like water pipes, they created the Firefly 2+ to match today's technology. It's great for younger smoking enthusiasts who want a hipper, alternative to vaping dry herbs or concentrates.

The Firefly 2+ (Plus) Portable Vaporizer

The Firefly 2+ Vaporizer has taken everything from its predecessor, the Firefly 2, and made it better. The new model is a highly acclaimed vaporizer with more power and performance. They designed it for dry herb and concentrate enthusiasts who love experiencing flavorful vapor clouds with zero waste, making it the most advanced portable convection vaporizer ever. The body of the device was crafted with high-grade alloys used on NASA spaceships.

The 2+ features touch sensor activation that stands out with its on-demand heating feature, borosilicate glass chamber, and a vapor path to deliver a pure flavor that mimics the smoking experience from a bowl. Firefly also made a few tweaks to the 2+. But the main feature you get is 33% more airflow than its predecessor, and they updated the firmware to help the learning curve.

The Firefly 2+ Mobile App

One of the many selling points of the Firefly 2+ for younger generations is the Firefly Mobile App. Although Apple removed all vaporizer apps from the App Store, if you downloaded it, you can still use it to control and fully customize the airflow and temperature from 200°F-500°F. You can also adjust the temperature on the device without the app.

Dynamic Convection Heating

Firefly's patented heating technology, Dynamic Convection, moves smoothly through the temperature scale with each draw. Allowing your dry herbs or concentrates to vaporize at their correct temperature with each draw.

How To Use The Firefly 2+ Vaporizer

Since the Firefly 2+ Portable Vaporizer is for both dry herb and concentrate, there's two different ways to start using the 2+.

For dry herb consumption, you'll want to start by grabbing a grinder to finely grind your herbs to the same consistency when you roll a cigarette. Just make sure it's not powdery, or it will go through the vape. If you're going to vape concentrate, open the lid, press the concentrate pad firmly into the glass heating chamber, and it's ready to use. Just make sure to not add a big amount of concentrate. Once you add your herbs or concentrate:

  • Make sure there are no materials on the interior surface so you can tightly seal the lid.
  • Put your finger on the touch sensor on either side of the vape to start heating.
  • There's an LED light that will blink to let you start using it.
  • Once the coil is red, the 2+ is ready to use.
