ABOUT THE DAVINCI IQ2 VAPORIZER
The DaVinci IQ2 Vaporizer is an update on the original IQ dry herb vaporizer. New features like dual-compatibility, adjustable airflow by way of the AirDial™, the ability to read your dosage off of the device, and a better insulated oven make the Davinci IQ2 a step up from its predecessor. Small tweaks like the DaVinci Pearl extending 30% further to help size and pack your material better or the new shape of the vapor path make the IQ2 Vaporizer user-friendly while still housing advanced technologies like a glass lined conduction oven. A brushed aluminum finish gives the IQ2 a more chic-yet-sly style than the older model, setting it apart from other portable vaporizers.

THE IQ2's IMPROVED AIRFLOW AND DUAL USE COMPATIBILITY
DaVinci has added their AirDial to the IQ2 to help customize your draw resistance. The AirDial lets you adjust your airflow to 40% less and 67% more than the original IQ vaporizer, which opens up more cloud chasing or flavor enjoying capabilities. Coupled with the AirDial is 35% more air holes, which means cooler vapor when the airflow is increased, and more dense vapor when the airflow is decreased. This intuitive feature will allow new users to find their preferred draw resistance, and experienced vapers the chance to further explore their materials.
The original IQ Vaporizer was strictly a dry herb vaporizer, the IQ2 breaks that mold and arrives with a concentrate pad to allow for dual-use enjoyment. Users just need to place a drop of their concentrate onto the metal pad, and insert it into the IQ2’s chamber, from there it’s just a matter of picking your temperature and taking a draw.
ON DEVICE DOSAGE CALCULATION WITH THE IQ2
DaVinci wants to help you track your consumption, and the IQ2 Vaporizer makes knowing your dry herb or concentrate dosage easier than ever with On Device Dosage Calculation. You’ll be able to input your strain potency and the amount of material you’ll be vaping in the oven, and the DaVinci IQ2 will display your per-draw dosage right on the outside of the device.
How To Use DaVinci IQ2 On Device Dosing
The DaVinci IQ2 algorithm considers the potency and amount of material, while the quantity of active compounds released by the IQ2 is measured per draw and cumulatively per session. Dosages will vary based on the temperature you use, length of draw, and how long the material has been under heat. The longest a Dosage Draw can be is 12 seconds, they are based on user input and standard user behavior.
- Step 1: After turning on your DaVinci IQ2, the device will begin to flash “NEW”. If you have just loaded fresh material click the control button once to confirm a new bowl. If this is not your first session with the current oven content, use the navigation buttons to select 2nd or 3rd. Once you’ve found your selection click the control button once to confirm.
- Step 2: The DaVinci IQ2 will flash the name of the psychoactive property of a certain dry herb once, then flash a numerical value. If this is your first time using the On Device Dosage, this number will be 20, if you’ve used it before your last number will be remembered. Use the navigation buttons to select the right percentage of the property and press the control button to confirm. If you’re enjoying a dry herb without this certain property, go all the way to 0.
- Step 3: After your potency is calculated, “CBD” will flash once, then flash a numerical value. Just like in STep 2 if this is your first session you’ll have to input the percentage, but if you’ve used it before it will remember the last dosage. Use the navigation buttons to pinpoint your number, and click the control button to confirm.
- Step 4: The IQ2 will begin to flash an oven icon. If you’ve chosen a psychoactive property percentage of 50% or more, a small oven will appear to indicate the use of concentrate, a large oven will appear if the percentage is less than 50, indicating you intend to use dry herb. Use the navigation buttons to select the amount loaded in your oven, and click the control button once confirmed.
The dry herb amount options are 40% full (.2 grams), 60% full (.3 grams), 80% full (.4g grams), and 100% full (.5 grams).
The concentrate amount options are half grain of rice (.025 grams), one grain of rice (.05 grams), one and one half grains of rice (.075 grams), and two grains of rice (.1 grams)
The DaVinci IQ2 will calculate active compounds per draw and cumulatively at the end of each session. When powering down the IQ2, the LEDs will flash the total dosage of your session. DaVinci plans to release an app to help give you even more control over your dosage monitoring by providing date on maximum dose per session, more information input regarding your strains, and live per-draw statistics.
*DISCLAIMER* On November 15,2019 Apple removed and banned all vaporizer related apps from the App Store. Android users will still be able to download the DaVinci IQ2 App when released.
ELITE CONDUCTION HEATING OVEN AND REMOVABLE IQ2 BATTERY
DaVinci took time to update the oven and heating chamber for the IQ2 with added insulation from the battery. This ensures more consistent heating performance and has made the oven thicker for a more even and flavorful roast of your material.
The DaVinci IQ2 utilizes a glass lined conduction oven to bring your material to your chosen temperature within less than a minute. A removable 18650 battery charges the device and ensures one hour of continuous use time.

Moved right in and took its place in my top spot and I guess you could call it the p@x killer. Great draw, nice control over temp even the four pre set profiles. Ergonomics team home run this just feels good in your hand.
I was skeptical about buying another vaporizer after having others that don’t work well. The Davinci IQ2 has preformed nicely giving good flavor at the beginning of the session. Flavor diminishes as the session goes on and with 2nd-3rd session. Gives about 2 1/2 to 3 sessions per full chamber of dry herb. I got a great deal with $30 of plus a 20% code. I ordered 2 extra batteries and a charger so I don’t have to plug in.
App works barely at all, crashes in middle of sesh. Device works, very poor design for concentrate, don't bother
This device is and was my first dry herb vaporizer. Overall this device is very nice and delivers great flavor. Do recommended keeping it clean. It's AWESOME that everything comes apart for cleaning. Price may be little high but for a vaporizer on the go with the warranty, how could you go wrong? I HIGHLY recommend this product weather you're seasoned with dry herb vaping or a newbie, this is a hit out of the park.
I think the IQ 2 is fantastic. I was looking at the IQ 2 in the store and I realised that the vape is even better than IQ (Awesome). I purchased it. The cost is 295$ plus tax. The brushed aluminium is really nice. The style on the IQ is also very good. The IQ2 is a bit bigger but a bit slimmer. It feels really good in my hand. Its more solid, the adjustable air flow is an improvement on the amount of vape per draw. There is also a vent with 3 line holes (More air flow when taking a draw.) There are now more than six wider holes on bottom of the heating chamber. The IQ has 4 small ones. (That was a flaw in the IQ) The mouth piece also has wider holes and more holes than the IQ.. It just looks cool! The display is better because there isn't room for dust to hang to.The gaskets are more solid and there is no chance it can be moved unless I want to. 10 Years in the warranty. My IQ is excellent, but the IQ 2 is a much-improved device. It may be that the IQ has emerged (IMO) ahead of the PAX 3. The IQ is close but the improvements made probably put the IQ 2 ahead. $295 - This is a high-end price. The Pax 3 is $200 basic. The Pax 3 is a high-end device that is better? Better The Pax 3 with the half oven. The IQ2 might be better once the glass spacers come out. I will try to chime in on my experience. Peace, Love & Vape ^ ^ ^ The Vape Master ^ ^ ^
