Description

microG Vaporizer

The original microG by Grenco Science may be micro in size, but delivers large clouds of vapor at the push of a button. Designed to vaporize solid concentrates quickly and efficiently, the microG easily fits in your pocket for on-the-go use. Simple loading and simple operation makes the microG one of the most user-friendly portable vaporizers available.

Sleek & Lightweight

At 4” in length, the microG is sleek, stealthy, fits in the palm of your hand, and is one of the smallest solid concentrate vaporizers available. Even when you are out and about, you’ll always have access to high-quality vapor.

Load As You Go

Use the supplied G Keychain with micro Tool to load your solid concentrate onto the heating element of the G coil. Replace the mouthpiece and press the button to engage the heater. Inhale slowly for best results.

Portable Power

The rechargeable Lithium-ion battery is designed to provide a long lasting charge for up to two days of use. An automatic shutoff feature turns the G coil off after 15 seconds of continuous heating, to help prolong the battery’s charge.

FAQs

How do I use the microG?

As with most pen vaporizers, the microG is super easy to use. Refer to the full instructions located on the ‘User Guide’ tab, but here is a quick rundown on using the microG: Charge the microG – This could take a few hours the first time, but subsequent charges should not take longer than 46-60 minutes. Load the microG – This is easily done by removing the mouthpiece, and using the included key chain tool to apply your concentrates on top of the atomizer coil. Do not load too much, more than a sessions worth is definitely too much. Ensure the concentrate the making contact with the atomizer. Replace mouthpiece and apply silicone mouthpiece covers, if desired. Power up and Draw – If the switch on the microG is locked, unlock by pressing the button five times. This enables the power switch and the microG is ready to use. Press the button and immediately begin drawing from the microG. Best practice is to keep the microG as vertical as possible during use. Draw until you have had your fill, or the ten-second shut off turns the atomizer off. Many owners find that taking one more draw through a cooling microG (no power applied while drawing) keeps the air vents from clogging.

How long does it take for the microG to pre-heat?

The microG heats up instantly. With a powerful (for its size) 650mAh battery, the microG heats up fast, and keeps heating long past other vaporizers of this size.

How do I change the temperature?

There are no temperature settings on the microG. It goes from room temperature to its peak temperature in one second.

What determines vapor quality in the microG?

First and foremost it’s vital that you use the cleanest and purest liquids and concentrates you can find. The microG was designed for use with liquids and concentrates that melt cleanly and leave no particulate behind. When particulate makes contact with the atomizer, it can overheat and will degrade the lifespan of your cartridge exponentially. Since the microG has only one temperature setting, its pretty foolproof. Press the button, and draw until you have your fill or until the microG shuts off automatically after 10 seconds. Adjusting your draw rate can have an effect on vapor thickness; draw faster for thinner vapors, slower for thicker vapors.

Is the microG compatible with liquids and concentrates?

The microG was designed solely for liquids and concentrates. Do not put aromatic blends into atomizer included with the the microG. There are atomizers available for blends, please contact Grenco Science more information.

Will the microG work on 240v power?

The charger is rated from 100v to 240v, but you might need an adapter for your outlet if outside North America.

My vapors seem thin. What can I do to change that?

First and foremost it’s vital that you use the cleanest and purest liquids and concentrates you can find. The microG was designed for use with liquids and concentrates that melt cleanly and leave no particulate behind. When particulate makes contact with the atomizer, it can overheat and will degrade the lifespan of your cartridge exponentially. Adjusting your draw rate can have an effect on vapor thickness; draw faster for thinner vapors, slower for thicker vapor. Since the microG has only one temperature setting, it’s essentially foolproof. Press the button, and draw until you have your fill or until the microG shuts off automatically after 10 seconds.

What is the microG made from?

The atomizer coil is nickel/aluminum-alloy, the wick is fiberglass, the crucible that surrounds the coil is ceramic, the body is made of steel and plastic. The mouthpieces are silicone.

What is the heating element made from?

The microG has a nickel/aluminum-alloy atomizer coil that surrounds a fiberglass wick.

Will microG over-heat?

Liquids and concentrates love high temperatures, so you should not have an overheating issue!

How full should the heating chamber be?

It’s best to not fill the heating chamber full. Just apply enough for one session at a time. The microG was not designed to hold more than one session at a time.

How often should I stir?

Occasionally through use, especially when drawing rapidly, the melted concentrate can ride on the sides of the crucible, preventing it from making contact with the atomizer coil. Using the unique included tool, you can ‘push’ the buildup on the sidewalls back down into the crucible for use. Use caution not to make contact with the atomizer, you could damage it very easily.

How do I replace the atomizer on the microG Pen?

The microG Pen atomizers are not rebuildable, you can replace them very easily by disconnecting them from the battery, and replace with a fresh atomizer coil. On average, atomizer coils last 4-5 weeks of normal use; your experience will vary.

What size Screens does the microG use?

There are no screens in the microG.

What type battery does the microG use?

The battery is Elips – C

What charging options do I have with the microG?

The microG comes with an AC adapter/USB plug, rated from 100v to 240v. The USB plug can be used by itself in a powered USB port anywhere in the world, but if you are charging your microG outside of North America with the included AC adapter an outlet/plug adapter might be needed.

How do I know if my microG battery needs to be charged?

When the microG battery is in need of a charge, the power button will flash 8 times when pressed. At this time, connect the microG battery to the microG Wired USB Charger (at the base of the microG Battery). The microG Wired USB Charger can be connected to either the G Wall Adapter or any compatible USB port. A red LED light will illuminate at the base of the battery to indicate that a charge is being administered. Once the red LED light turns green, the microG battery has been fully charged.

How should I care for my microG?

Any concentrate that may have collected on the body of your microG can be removed with a warm damp cloth. If you need to remove concentrates from inside the crucible, you can do so using your microG Tool. USE CAUTION and be extremely careful not to damage the atomizer coil. Within the crucible of your microG tank, the coil works to clean itself by clearing off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the microG tank, as doing so could cause it to malfunction.

Within the crucible of your microG atomizer, the coil works to clean itself by clearing off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the microG crucible, as doing so could cause the atomizer to malfunction. If you need to remove concentrates from the crucible, we don’t recommend it, but you can do so using your microG Tool.

Is it okay to use isopropyl alcohol on my microG?

On certain parts alcohol is fine. The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods. Cleaning the atomizer is not recommended, replace as needed. Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever. If you need to clean the outside of the microG, use a warm damp cloth. If the microG gets wet in any way, allow to dry in the sun or a warm dry area until COMPLETELY DRY. Attempting to use the microG if wet will cause serious damage to the unit.

What parts of the microG will I need to clean the most?

The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods. Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever.

What is replaceable on my microG?

The coil atomizer should be replaced as needed on the microG. Over time even the purest concentrates will allow buildup to collect on the Atomizer coil; removing this with a tool will damage the coil. On average, atomizer coils last 4-5 weeks of normal use; your experience will vary.
