Description

Pulsar APX Wax Vaporizer

The Pulsar APX Vaporizer for Solid Concentrates is a discreet and portable device that packs a huge punch. Standing just 4'' tall, this low-profile pocketable gadget features a powerful triple-coil atomizer, a pure quartz chamber, and a dependable 1100mAh lithium-ion battery. Backed by the success of the original APX Vaporizer, The APX Wax is here to deliver power and reliability without breaking the bank. Whether you are a beginner connoisseur or a seasoned concentrate enthusiast, you’ll want to keep this top-shelf device by your side.

How It Works

First, ensure your device is fully charged. Remove the glass cover to open the heating chamber and carefully load a small portion of your wax concentrates directly onto the coil. For the best experience, we recommend preheating the unit for 3-4 seconds to allow your material to settle in and melt. Once the vaporizer is loaded, replace the glass cover and push the power button 5 times quickly to turn on the device. Next, activate the heating element by pressing and holding the power button until the logo turns green. This means the unit reached its drawing temperature. Begin to draw from the mouthpiece while still holding the power button. When finished drawing, release the power button and clear the rest of the vapor in the mouthpiece. It’s that simple and straightforward!

Maintenance

Your Pulsar APX Wax Vaporizer can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and Q-tips. For a perfect cleaning ritual, check out The Supreme Clean Kit by Higher Standards.

Don’t waste your money

Very disappointed with this product. It worked well for maybe the first 2 sessions, after that it wasn’t producing anywhere near as much smoke even on a full charge. The chamber is fairly small and after 2 hits you need to stir the bowl to get the greens towards the bottom near the heating element. Then maybe take one more hit and re pack. Very annoying. Def smells strong as well so if you want to be discreet this isn’t for you. I was expecting it to last longer than 24 hours since I spent 70 bucks but this thing is pathetic. Hits are very small compared to the first day. Also the heating element stays warm for just one hit so you need to repeatedly hold it to prep. Save your money and just buy a bowl or vaporizer. This thing is trash.

Not a dual vape.

I bought this thinking it was a dual vape, as the front of the box says 2in1vape. It is not. It does vape concentrate but not dry herb. For dry herb this is basically a small pipe that is very inconvenient to load. It also makes the glass very resinated, so you have to clean it really well or when you do vape concentrates, the vape taste icky.

Great product... buy it

I've been using this for a month now. It works great, easy to clean, fast changing. I fill the bowl about half full... set it on 410 or 428 and I get 7-10 good inhalations. Great vape for $69.99.

How do I know that the Pulsar APX Wax is fully charged?

While charging the battery charge progress is indicated by a series of green LED’s flashing in a consecutive order.

How do I use the Pulsar APX Wax?

First assure your Pulsar APX Wax is fully charged. To do that, charge via USB provided. First remove the glass cover/mouthpiece to expose the heating chamber and carefully load your concentrate directly to the coil of the unit. If your concentrates are stickier APX recommends pre-heating the unit for about 4 seconds to allow your wax to easily melt onto the coils. Once loaded replace the glass cover and turn the unit on. To do this click the power button 5 times quickly, the LED’s will flash as the device turns on. Next press and hold the power button to engage the heating element. The logo on the unit will turn from red to green when the unit has reached drawing temperature and you can begin to draw from the unit while still holding down the power button. When you’re finished with your draw release the power button and clear the rest of the vapor in the mouthpiece with the end of your inhale. And that’s it; this unit is really simple and straight forward.

Is the Pulsar APX Wax compatible with dry materials?

No, we recommend purchasing the Pulsar APX designed for dry materials.

How full should the chamber of the APX Wax be?

It’s best to not fill the heating chamber full. Just apply enough for one session at a time. The Pulsar APX Wax was not designed to hold more than one session at a time.

How often should I stir my material during a session with the Pulsar APX Wax?

You don’t need to stir the concentrates on the atomizer.

How do I replace the Pulsar APX Wax atomizer?

The Pulsar APX Wax atomizers are not rebuildable, you can replace them very easily by disconnecting them from the unit, and replace with a fresh atomizer coil. On average, atomizer coils last 4-5 weeks of normal use; your experience will vary.

Does the Pulsar APX Wax use screens?

No it does not.

Is there an auto shutoff for the APX Wax?

Yes it will shut off after 30 seconds of being engaged.

How often should I clean my Pulsar APX Wax?

Within the crucible of your Pulsar APX Wax atomizer, the coil works to clean itself by clearing off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the Pulsar APX Wax crucible, as doing so could cause the atomizer to malfunction. If you need to remove residue from the crucible, we recommend doing a burn-off.

Is it okay to use isopropyl alcohol on my Pulsar APX Wax?

On certain parts alcohol is fine. The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods. Cleaning the atomizer is not recommended, replace as needed. Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever. If you need to clean the outside of the Pulsar APX Wax , use a warm damp cloth. If the Pulsar APX Wax gets wet in any way, allow to dry in the sun or a warm dry area until COMPLETELY DRY. Attempting to use the Pulsar APX Wax if wet will cause serious damage to the unit.
