I bought this to have a independent housing for a chamber reducer. Anyone who thinks this part is bad is abusing their volcano. I've had my volcano almost 6 months and have had zero issues with it. It hasn't melted or cracked. None of the tabs have broken. It's exactly as it was the day I got it. If you don't crank down on it or leave it sitting on the volcano at max temp for hours it will last a long time. You do need to keep the area where the two parts meet clean so they don't become stuck together.
Works as advertised. My old chamber was broken, both the bottom part and the top part so nothing would stay put. It was easy to click the parts into the new filling chamber. After this i will always clean the filling chamber while it is still warm.
They will melt at some point. Whether you take care of them or not. Because it’s cheap plastic sitting on hot metal. Whoever designed this did not use a brain when choosing the right material during product design process. & they’re not going to fix this problem. Because, you just dropped 600-700 on the volcano & don’t have a choice but to buy more. All you can do is play there game and buy multiple, which is bs. Where is the R&D for a better consumer experience. C’mon. They deserve a class action for premeditating this.
I am shocked at the level of complete garbage they are using in such an expensive model. I had no problems at all from vapor.com. shipping and order process great. But for the amount of money the stuff storz and bikel costs. They should make something a little more durable
I have been purchasing and using the volcano line of products made by Storz and Bickel since the beginning. I have used them so much that the buttons broke on a couple classic models over many years. USED ALOT! I was a very satisfied customer. BUT........ I recently purchase the hybrid because my last classic took a dump and to say I was very excited about a new model for myself is an understatement. And after a few days 1 of the orange clips was laying on the table. I never dropped it or was very rough and I did not have many people over. Couple days later another clip laying on the table. Now the bowl does not stay and it is a vital piece. So Storz and Bickel should be ashamed of themselves for choosing profits over how they used to make Volcano's and the accessories which lasted a reasonable amount of time. It all started with the bag clip IMO. I used to up sell the volcano to every person that would stop over and now I would NEVER EVER tell the to spend the amount of money on the hybrid unless you find a box of 1000 housings and the original bag clips. vapor.com is AWESOME and I love them. Its not their fault Storz and Bickel chose the cheapest plastic known to man. Ill keep buying from them.
